Snow Leopard: iCal displays dynamic date even in preferences

You may notice that iCal on 10.6 Snow Leopard displays the actual date in its Dock icon. But it goes further: the background of iCal’s Preferences > Accounts window for adding a new CalDAV or Exchange account also shows iCal’s icon with the accurate date.
