Snow Leopard: Sort windows alphabetically in Exposé (Updated)

Command Key

You can sort windows alphabetically in Exposé by pressing Cmd+1. Cmd+2 reverses it to non-sorted.

Editor’s note: Does this work in any version of Mac OS X besides Snow Leopard?

Update: Chris in the comments confirms this does not work in Leopard; sounds like it’s exclusive to Snow Leopard.

  1. Just tried in Leopard. No go.

  2. Cmd+2 sorts by application, not non-sorted

  3. Not only does it sort by application, it also sorts windows of the same application alphabetically.
