
Hold the Shift key when launching Exposé, Spaces, Dashboard, minimizing a window into the Dock, or even when using a Dock Stack, and you will get a slow version of the feature’s animation. This has worked at least as far back as Mac OS X 10.3 Panther, and probably earlier.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's been there since at least 10.1.. And to this day, it still rocks!
This has been in OS X since at least the Public Beta. I like to call this one the “Steve Effect”. I'm betting it was put in so Steve could demonstrate the cool graphics capabilities in Mac OS X.
Oh, and how I wish wish wish wish wish wish wish wish there was a way to turn that feature OFF!
